Linux Admin:
Primary Skillset :

• Candidate should have experience in Linux/Unix servers administration, preferably Redhat/IBM AIX
• Install and configure new systems
• Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
• Perform systems monitoring to verify availability and integrity of hardware and server resources.
• Perform backup operations as needed
• Familiar with centralized configuration management tools preferably Ansible.
• Candidate should be familiar with Systemd
• Excellent application integration troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose system problems.
• Responsible for disaster recovery planning and recovery processes
• Sr level experience managing VMWARE servers
• Sr level skills managing Red Hat Linux Servers
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery restorations like Avamar.
• Able to be on-call to respond to data center alerts and crisis
• Strong experience with vulnerability mitigation and patching
• Strong understanding and troubleshooting of physical and virtual servers
• Works continuously to drive automation, efficiency, scalability, and reliability of systems and applications.
• Collaborates across other technical teams to analyze system level impacts, provide consultation, and recommend approaches for production readiness.
• Provides support and basic triage for the assigned department areas. Responsible to resolve system issues and create Root Cause Found documentation.
• Measures application, OS, and hardware performance, and makes recommendations on correcting bottlenecks in systems performance.
• Storage, back-up, recovery technologies and processes.
• Candidate should have experience on scripting languages like Shell ,Bash, Python. And should write shell scripts to automate repetitive tasks.
• Designing, implementing, securing and maintaining the Linux/Unix systems for its test, development and production environment
• Proven skills on working with both Linux Virtual , Rack & Blade servers and should be good with setting up new Physical servers .
• Manage, monitor, configure, troubleshoot, and repair systems in a variety of different networks to include high volume/high availability systems
• Experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with business stakeholders/users
• Follow policies and procedures for change and incident management.
