freelance LinkedIn Expert
with strong experience in
personal branding, company page growth, and B2B content strategy.
The ideal candidate has over 4 years of hands-on experience managing and scaling professional profiles and brand pages on LinkedIn.
Role Overview
The LinkedIn Expert will manage and grow the LinkedIn presence of Spark Plug Digital and select client brands. This includes
strategy, content creation guidance, optimization, analytics, and audience engagement.
You'll work closely with our marketing and content teams to build
authority, visibility, and lead generation opportunities
through consistent, insight-led storytelling on LinkedIn.
Key Responsibilities
1. LinkedIn Strategy and Growth
Develop and execute platform-specific strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement.
Optimize company pages and personal profiles for better reach, search performance, and credibility.
Create growth roadmaps for clients' B2B communication goals and lead generation.
2. Content and Campaign Management
Collaborate with writers and designers to plan and publish thought-led posts, carousels, and articles.
Ensure every post aligns with the brand's tone, purpose, and audience insight.
Guide the team on trending content formats such as polls, documents, and storytelling posts.
3. Analytics and Reporting
Track performance metrics including impressions, engagement, follower growth, and post analytics.
Identify what type of content drives reach and conversions, and suggest actionable improvements.
Prepare monthly performance reports and share insights with internal and client teams.
4. LinkedIn Advertising and Outreach
Manage or coordinate LinkedIn Ads campaigns for select clients.
Use Sales Navigator or equivalent tools to identify decision-makers and expand relevant networks.
Build community engagement through meaningful commenting, reposting, and interaction.
5. Optimization and Research
Stay updated on LinkedIn's latest features, algorithm shifts, and best practices.
Research global benchmarks and top-performing accounts for inspiration and strategic adaptation.
Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, or Notion Calendar for post scheduling and collaboration
Design and Visual Tools
Canva, Adobe Express, or Figma for carousel and banner layout coordination
Analytics and Reporting
Google Sheets or Data Studio for performance dashboards
Shield App (optional) for advanced LinkedIn analytics
Collaboration and Communication
Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, or Trello for coordination with the Spark Plug team
What We Are Looking For
Minimum 4 years of experience in
LinkedIn content strategy, management, or consulting.
Proven ability to grow personal and company profiles organically.
Strong understanding of
LinkedIn algorithms, content formats, and engagement behavior.
Excellent written communication and a sharp eye for professional tone and storytelling.
Ability to balance creative thinking with measurable business outcomes.
Familiarity with
B2B and professional branding strategies.
Experience handling multiple client pages or agency-level projects.
Good to Have
