Job Summary:

The Line Incharge will be responsible for supervising and managing the production line in the glass manufacturing plant. This role ensures smooth operations, adherence to production schedules, quality standards, safety compliance, and coordination with cross-functional teams. The candidate should have prior experience in handling production lines, preferably in the glass industry, with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage day-to-day operations of the glass production line. Allocate manpower effectively and monitor operator performance. Ensure achievement of production targets while maintaining quality standards. Monitor machine performance and coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs. Implement and follow safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment. Minimize downtime and ensure optimum utilization of resources. Conduct regular inspections to maintain product quality and reduce defects. Maintain production records, shift reports, and downtime analysis. Train and guide operators/workers for better efficiency and skill development. Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of glass production processes and machinery. Ability to lead and manage a team effectively. Problem-solving and quick decision-making skills. Familiarity with quality standards and safety regulations in manufacturing. Good communication and coordination skills. Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, ERP systems preferred).

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering (preferred). 2-5 years of experience in production/operations, preferably in glass or related manufacturing industry. Hands-on experience with glass processing machines and line operations.

Work Conditions:

Factory-based role with shift responsibilities. Requires close monitoring of production lines and workforce. Interaction with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Dispatch teams.

Pay: ₹30,580.36 - ₹35,331.76 per month
