Role
As the Team Manager you will be part of the Paint Shop section from the Weld and Paint Department and will report to the Section Head - Paint Shop
A purpose driven role for you
Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
1. Produce the Painted fuel tank in order to feed Frame assembly as per Daily Vehicle rolling plan by production planning & Control
2. Reduce consumable and rejection cost to meet Section Target
3. Formulate the New Paint Shop production plan to optimise the power consumption
4. Reduce the safety incident in New Paint Shop in order to meet Section target
5. To achieve IMS and EnMS objectives through adherence of systems and procedures for resource conservation in Section
A Day in the life
1. Process Control by monitoring & Strengthen
2. Plan Follow-up With Frame assembly and Production Planning & Control department
3. Budget Consumable and Rejection Planning
4. Consumable control by daily monitoring & Improvement
5. Rejection control by straight pass increase and by Improvement management project
6. Shop running hour calculation as per New Paint Shop loading plan
7. Motivation to team through innovation at unsafe place
8. Training/awareness to team regarding unsafe place and action
Academic Qualification & Experience
B.Tech in Paint Technology with 2-4 Years of relevant Work Experience
Diploma in Paint Technology with 6-10 Years of relevant Work Experience
Technical Skills/Knowledge
1. MS Office, SAP & PPT
2. 5S, TPM, SPC & TPS
3. Understanding of organizational context, policies, needs and expectation of all interested parties.
4. To analyse and action plan to achieve straight pass.
5. Knowledge of Sheet metal painting process.
6. Understanding of benchmarking process, formulation of action plan for mitigating risk related to IMS & EnMS
7. To adhere and quality dealing for all consumable and paint.
Behavioural Skills
1. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
2. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
3. Strong supervisory and leadership skills
4. Behavioral Based Safety Approach
5. Planning and decision making.
