Role Overview:
We're looking for passionate, detail-driven line cooks who know their way around a hot kitchen and love cooking up quality food. If you're fast on the line, serious about flavor, and don't mind a little smoke, you might just be the one.
Key Responsibilities:
Prep and execute dishes according to Big Poppa's standards and recipes
Work the grill, fryer, or saute station depending on the day
Maintain clean and organized stations throughout service
Monitor food quality, portioning, and presentation
Ensure kitchen hygiene and food safety protocols are followed
Assist in daily mise en place and inventory management
Collaborate with the kitchen team during service and rush hours
You Should Have:
1-2 years of experience in a continental/Western kitchen
Solid knowledge of proteins, sauces, and plating
The ability to stay cool under pressure
A sharp eye for detail and a great attitude
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Bonus Points If You:
Have experience with smoked meats or American cuisine
Enjoy fast-paced kitchens and clean plating
Bring ideas to the table and care about the food you serve
