About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Market Risk Specialist.

The role involves supporting the critical function of ensuring limits and exceptions processes, assisting in monitoring and escalation processes for effective risk management. ECRM Counterparty Credit Administration also has a regulatory, oversight and governance responsibility to ensure that all governing agreements are reviewed and actioned on a timely basis to provide accurate application of netting and collateral enforceability within the Counterparty Risk System.

In this role, you will:

• Ensure limit approvals, grade approvals and transaction approvals, as provided by LOB Credit / Risk Officer via FAF (Facility Acknowledgement Form), are recorded in CoRS, the Counterparty Risk System on a daily basis.
• Daily review of CoRS exceptions (limit breach and/or tenor violation) and notification to Front Line and/or IRM Credit / Risk Officers.
• Daily Quality assurance for all limits and grades input by ECRM Credit Administration on behalf of non-CoRS Risk Officers. Four eyes check process.
• Ensure escalation of unresolved and unapproved exceptions to Front Line, Credit / Risk Officers and ECRM Senior Management on a monthly basis. Recommend further escalation/reporting as determined by the Head of ECRM Credit Admin, Head of Oversight or the Head of ECRM and various Committees.
• Ensure all limits and grades processes remain effective and in compliance with WF policy requirements and regulatory guidance.

Required Qualifications, International:

• 3+ years of advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, graphs and formulas
• 3+ years of advanced SQL skills - experience with understanding and editing existing SQL queries
• Good Microsoft Visio skills to document process flows
• Experience in Tableau
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

Desired Qualifications:

• Tableau experience
• Experience in capital markets, market risk is a plus
• Advanced MS Office skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
