Job Title: Lighting Designer

Job Summary:

We're seeking a talented Lighting Designer to create and implement lighting designs for various productions/events. You'll collaborate with directors, producers, and other crew members to develop innovative lighting concepts that enhance the overall visual experience.

Key Responsibilities:
1.Knowledge of lighting fixtures (LEDs, profiles, movers, washes, architectural systems).

2.Familiarity with lighting control consoles (MA, ETC, Avolites, etc.).

3.Experience using design and drafting software: Vectorworks, AutoCAD, WYSIWYG, Dialux, or Relux.

4.Understanding of DMX/DALI networks and power distribution.

5.Awareness of health & safety, electrical standards, and rigging principles.

6. Develop lighting designs and concepts for productions/events

7. Collaborate with directors, producers, and crew members

8. Create lighting plots, technical drawings, and documentation

9. Select and program lighting fixtures, colors, and effects

10. Oversee lighting installation, setup, and operation

11. Troubleshoot technical issues during productions

Requirements:

1. Experience in lighting design for theater, concerts, or events

2. Strong knowledge of lighting fixtures, control systems, and techniques

3. Proficiency in lighting design software (e.g., Vectorworks, Lightwright)

4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills

5. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Degree in Lighting Design, Theater, or related field

2. Experience with CAD software and lighting control systems

3. Portfolio showcasing previous work
