Job Description

Assemble parts or products on a production line or workstation Pick, pack, label, and prepare goods for shipment or stocking Load and unload trucks or materials using pallet jacks or hand trucks Perform basic quality inspections and report defects Clean and maintain workstations, tools, and production areas Follow work orders, blueprints, or instructions from supervisors Operate basic machinery, tools, or conveyor systems as trained Track production output and assist with basic inventory counts
Required Skills and QualificationsHard skills

Familiarity with hand tools, measuring instruments, or assembly procedures Ability to lift materials (typically 25-50 lbs) and work on your feet for extended periods Knowledge of basic safety practices and material handling equipment Experience with RF scanners or inventory systems (preferred for warehouse roles)
Soft skills

Reliability and punctuality for scheduled shifts Attention to detail when assembling or packing items Ability to work well in team-based environments Flexibility to perform multiple tasks throughout the day Willingness to follow instructions and company policies
Education

High school diploma or GED preferred No formal education required for many entry-level roles
Certifications

Forklift or pallet jack certification may be required (depending on employer and equipment used) OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 training is a plus for manufacturing or construction-adjacent environments
Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or fulfillment center Experience with assembly line work, shipping/receiving, or material handling Comfortable working in environments with noise, repetitive motion, or temperature variation
