Mechanical Engineering Degree with 4 years / Diploma with 3 Years 'experience and he should have same experience as lifting Incharge/supervisor/specialist in oil and gas onshore or offshore facility or related continuous process industry of reputed organization.

Job Profile

o

A lifting specialist shall have LEEA certification in lifting operations or equivalent Certification by DNV, TUV, LLOYDS, & NIST- any other international certification for lifting Tools & Equipment's /expert in the field of Heavy lifting. (Other requirement per Vedanta to be checked with HSE).

o

Must be authorized and trained on Safe use and Emergency Rescue Plan of lifts and on VSS-17 lifts Safety Standard and shall undergo refresher training annually.

o

Well-developed knowledge relating to lifting equipment operation relates to Oil & Gas facilities. Overviews lifting operations during loading and unloading of equipment's, prepares lifting Plans and lifting Risk Assessments.

o

Expertise in a similar industry should know the procedure and must be an expert in the field. Familiar with applicable international lifting equipment standards and codes for.

o

Understand lift plans and load charts..Must have the ability to communicate with clients in an advisory capacity if required and the ability to judge the suitability of the equipment being used in relation to its use. Work in a manner consistent with the operations philosophy and with a heightened awareness of HSE.

o

Operations team supporting Maintenance and production operations and reporting to respective discipline manager. The role requires responsibility for ensuring that all of Cairn lifting standards and safe practices are carried out on.
