Job Description

Operate lifts:

Safely and efficiently load, transport, and unload passengers or goods between floors or across terrain.

Perform safety checks:

Conduct daily inspections of lift equipment and machinery to ensure proper, safe function.

Provide assistance:

Greet passengers, assist them with loading and unloading, and help with things like navigating in extreme weather or during busy times.

Maintain a clean and safe area:

Keep the lift area, ramps, and surrounding areas clean, clear, and free of hazards.

Manage operations:

Set up and manage queues using signage and barriers, and ensure all safety protocols are followed.

Record keeping:

Maintain logbooks and complete reports on lift operations and any issues that arise.

Perform maintenance:

Assist with minor repairs and routine maintenance on the equipment as needed.
