Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy Liferay DXP-based web applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements. Develop custom portlets, themes, layouts, and fragments using Service Builder and OSGi modules. Integrate Liferay DXP with other enterprise systems (APIs, REST, SOAP, SSO, Keycloak, etc.). Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Java code following industry best practices. Perform code reviews, debugging, and optimization to ensure system quality and performance. Stay updated with the latest trends in Liferay DXP, OSGi, and modern web development. Contribute to Agile ceremonies and continuous process improvements. Mentor junior developers and support technical growth within the team.
Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. 5+ years of experience in Java-based web application development. Hands-on expertise in Liferay DXP (7.x), including:
OSGi modules, Service Builder, MVC frameworks, Liferay Hooks, REST Builder

AlloyUI, JSP, and Liferay Taglibs, Client Extensions

Theme and layout customization

Workflow Management

Strong grasp of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, free marker and front-end integration. Experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML, SSO and backend integrations. Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and Agile workflows Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Liferay Migration Experience
