Job Description

Whizara offers coding, robotics, media art, life skills and world language courses to K-12 students. The Life Skills Curriculum Developer plays a crucial role in designing and enhancing Whizara's education initiatives, ensuring alignment with educational standards and goals. This position involves collaborating with Whizara's instructors, administrators, and other stakeholders to create engaging and effective curricula that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation among students.

Responsibilities:



Lead the design and development of comprehensive life skills curricula, incorporating best practices and innovative teaching methodologies, to create engaging lesson plans, activities, and assessments Ensure alignment of curricula with educational standards, learning objectives, and assessment criteria. Oversee the implementation of programs, monitor program effectiveness and make adjustments as necessary to improve student outcomes Create and coordinate resources, including materials, technology, and professional development opportunities for Whizara's instructors Provide training and support to instructors on effective teaching strategies, pedagogical approaches, and the integration of technology Foster a culture of continuous improvement by facilitating workshops and webinars Establish and maintain partnerships with industry stakeholders, research institutions, and community organizations Collaborate with external partners to develop experiential learning opportunities, internships, and mentorship programs for students. Develop and implement assessment strategies to measure student progress and program effectiveness Analyze data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and inform future curriculum development effort

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) with a strong understanding of educational theory and practice. Prior experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or educational leadership roles. Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders Experience in teacher training, professional development facilitation, or workshop delivery. Willingness to stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in the target fields and educational practices
Overall, the Curriculum Developer plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of Whizara's course offerings, fostering innovation, and preparing students for success in a rapidly evolving world.
