Key Responsibilities
1. Life Skills Education
Implement the school's Life Skills Curriculum.
Execute the Leader in MeProgram by Stephen Covey.
Design and deliver a comprehensive life skills program covering communication, decision-making, critical thinking, empathy, stress management, interpersonal skills, and more.
2. Individual and Group Sessions
Conduct one-on-one and group coaching sessions with students.
Facilitate discussions, activities, and workshops on life skill topics during class hours or special sessions.
3. Curriculum Integration
Collaborate with teachers to incorporate life skills into academic subjects and school activities.
Promote a holistic and skill-based learning environment.
4. Assessment & Progress Tracking
Observe and assess student progress in life skills development.
Maintain detailed records and provide feedback.
Adjust coaching strategies based on individual student needs.
5. Counselling and Guidance
Provide support to students dealing with personal, emotional, and social challenges.
Help students develop coping strategies and conflict-resolution skills.
6. Parental Involvement
Work with the parent coordinator to communicate the importance of life skills education.
Engage parents in supporting their child's growth and development.
7. Workshops & Seminars
Organize awareness sessions, seminars, and workshops for students, teachers, and parents on life skills development.
8. Collaboration with Stakeholders
Partner with school leaders, teachers, and support staff to ensure a unified approach to life skills education.
9. Continuous Learning
Stay updated on current research, trends, and best practices in life skills education.
Incorporate innovative methodologies into the program.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Education, or related field (preferred).
Strong interpersonal, communication, and mentoring skills.
Experience working with students in an educational setting.
Ability to conduct engaging sessions and build rapport with students.
Compassionate, patient, and student-centered approach.
Immediate joiner preferred.
