Why are we hiring a Life Science Analyst?
We're on the hunt for a Life Science Analyst as part of our company's growth.
As part of the Outsourcing Services team, this role is responsible for the following tasks in support of Target Safety Assessments (TSAs) by KnowledgeScan Services and other ISTS projects:
Review, extract, and format data from literature and databases/websites
Ability to evaluate and curate data and excerpts from relevant data sources into appropriate formats and systems
Review data/excepts curated by others or software

What are you responsible for?
Review findings from a variety of different study types and data resources, including bioinformatics and cheminformatics databases, and scientific literature
Develop the ability to understand customer and business needs
Manage assigned tasks to achieve tight deadlines and communicate status
Assist with research, analysis, and manipulation of complex data
Contribute updates during team meetings
Learn and develop professionally with every project.
As ISTS evolves, support new services as needed
Adherence to the Company's Quality Management System to ensure that all work is handled Securely, Professionally and Diligently
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a life science subject
Excellent written and oral communication
No programming experience is required however it would be a distinct advantage to be comfortable with scripting languages such as R, Python and Perl
Good computer literacy and technical skills using software
Experience/proficiency with scientific concepts and comprehend scientific terminology
Good interpersonal skills
Knowledge of our Quality Management System and its application to tasks associated with this role
