Qualification / Certification:

Lifeguard Certification (mandatory)

CPR Certification (mandatory)

First Aid Certification (mandatory)

Skills Required:

Strong swimming skills, high medical and physical fitness, decision-making skills, observation and monitoring skills, communication skills.

Job Responsibilities

Emergency Response

Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, including rescuing guests in distress in water areas. Administer first aid, CPR, and other life-saving techniques when required. Coordinate with emergency response teams during critical incidents.

Guest Safety & Rule Enforcement

Enforce all safety rules, pool regulations, height restrictions, and facility guidelines to prevent accidents. Monitor guest activity closely and ensure all visitors follow safety instructions at pools, water rides, and aquatic areas. Intervene immediately when unsafe behavior or hazardous situations are observed.

Surveillance & Monitoring

Maintain constant and focused observation of swimmers to identify potential risks or distress signals. Perform regular scanning techniques to ensure complete coverage of the assigned zone. Ensure water quality, depth markings, rescue equipment, and lifeguard stations are properly maintained.

Operational Support

Conduct daily checks of lifesaving equipment, such as rescue tubes, spine boards, and communication devices. Support opening and closing activities of the pool or water attraction areas. Maintain cleanliness and ensure the safety of the surrounding area, walkways, and guest zones.

Documentation & Reporting

Report incidents, rescues, injuries, and rule violations to supervisors promptly. Maintain accurate records of daily logs, equipment checks, and emergency response reports.

Training & Preparedness

Participate in regular lifeguard drills, refreshers, and physical fitness training to maintain readiness. Stay updated on new safety procedures, rescue practices, and first aid protocols.
