Job Description

Monitoring and Assessment:

Vital Signs:

Continuously monitoring and recording vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation, temperature).

Patient Condition:

Assessing and responding to changes in patient status, including neurological status, pain levels, and overall physical condition.

Equipment Monitoring:

Ensuring the proper functioning of all life-support equipment, such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, and infusion pumps.

Diagnostic Tests:

Performing or assisting with diagnostic tests, including blood draws and interpreting lab results.
Treatment and Medication Administration:

Medication Administration:

Accurately administering medications, including IV fluids, according to physician orders.

Treatment Implementation:

Assisting with and implementing various treatments and procedures, such as wound care, pain management, and respiratory support.

Life Support:

Managing and operating life-support equipment, including ventilators, to maintain patient stability.
Communication and Collaboration:

Care Planning:

Collaborating with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.

Family Communication:

Providing updates to patients and their families on the patient's condition, treatment plan, and progress.

Documentation:

Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, including medication administration, treatment plans, and observations.
Other Key Responsibilities:

Emotional Support:

Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families during stressful situations.

Emergency Response:

Responding to medical emergencies and performing life-saving measures, such as CPR, when needed.

Patient Advocacy:

Acting as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs are met.

Infection Control:

Adhering to strict infection control procedures to prevent the spread of infection.

Professional Development:

Staying up-to-date on the latest advancements in critical care nursing and participating in continuing education.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
