We are seeking a qualified and licensed Pharmacist to manage pharmacy operations in our family clinic. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, maintaining proper drug inventory, ensuring legal compliance, and providing medication counseling to patients.
Key Responsibilities
Dispensing & Patient Care
Dispense prescribed medications accurately as per doctor's instructions.
Provide clear medication counseling to patients, including dosage, usage, and precautions.
Check prescriptions for correctness, interactions, and contraindications.
Ensure patient safety and confidentiality at all times.
Pharmacy Operations
Maintain proper storage of medicines as per temperature and safety guidelines.
Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, and batch numbers.
Maintain pharmacy cleanliness and organization.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
Regulatory & Documentation
Ensure compliance with Pharmacy Act, Drug & Cosmetics Act, and local regulations.
Maintain required pharmacy registers, records, and documentation.
Coordinate with auditors and health inspectors when required.
Ensure valid licenses and certificates are displayed and renewed on time.
Coordination & Support
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and clinic staff for smooth patient care.
Assist in procurement of medicines and medical supplies.
Handle patient queries and complaints professionally.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification:
D.Pharm / B.Pharm
License:
Valid State Pharmacy Council Registration
Experience:
Freshers or experienced candidates (clinic experience preferred)
Skills & Competencies
Good knowledge of medicines and pharmacy laws
Attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and patient-handling skills
Basic computer knowledge (billing/software preferred)
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
