Position : Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer B1 / B2

Location : Selangor (Malaysia)

Qualification : India DGCA Part 66 AME License

Minimum 1 year certifying experience as a qualified LAE

Sonovision Malaysia's Aircraft Maintenance Support team provide comprehensive MRO support services to aircraft manufacturer and MRO with a global network of service centres. Our service scope is customizable to suit varying customer's operation needs, and includes providing skilled resources for maintenance planning, maintenance execution, maintenance records, and on-site supports.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform and certify aircraft maintenance tasks including cleaning, inspection, removal & installation, repair, modification and functional tests. Participate in maintenance planning / preparation such as forecasting of manpower, spares & equipment needs. Ensure maintenance work complies with standards, regulations, manufacturer guidelines and company SOP. Ensure all Aircraft related certification paperwork is completed accordingly. Ensure safe and correct use of tooling and equipment and report any discrepancies. Adhere to safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with Part 145, EHS, QMS practices. Coordinate with maintenance team to ensure efficient task planning for aircraft checks operational readiness. Have proactive communication with maintenance planning department to manage client's return-to-service expectations. Report any significant defects, delays, or incidents to appropriate stakeholders, ensure corrective actions are implemented. Maintain accurate and detailed technical records for audits and compliance. Supervise unqualified maintenance personnel, provide support and mentorship to junior engineers and/or technicians or apprentices as needed.

Skills and Competencies:

Relevant engineering qualifications. EASA and/or CAAM Part 66 license will be a

plus.

Extensive knowledge of aircraft systems, structure and operations. Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. English proficiency is mandatory. High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage priorities of the job effectively and efficiently. Awareness of any potential compliance risks.

Work Environment:

Work on-site in customer facilities. May required to travel based on project needs. Chances of long-term relocation up to 1 year.
