Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and workshops on various topics related to library science
- Mentor and guide students in their academic journey, providing valuable feedback and support
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in library science to ensure the curriculum remains relevant
- Conduct research in the field of library science and contribute to scholarly publications
- Collaborate with industry professionals and organizations to enhance student learning through internships or job placements
- Engage in continuous professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge base
- A Doctoral degree in Library Science or UGC NET Qualified
- 5 years prior experience working in an academic setting is preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in library science principles, practices, and technologies
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
- A passion for teaching and mentoring students of diverse backgrounds
