The Library Assistant is responsible for effective assistance to library collection. He/ She reports to the Librarian and support him in effective management of Library.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Library & Information Science
Minimum 1-2 years of Relevant Experience
Computer Knowledge (MS Word/ Excel/ ALICE etc.)
Roles and Responsibilities
To efficiently support Library In charge in day to day functioning of Library.
Record keeping (Newspaper/ Journals/ Magazine).
Maintain the decorum of Library.
Managing smooth function of library (Book Issue/ Return/Fine Collection etc).
Maintaining the Library -Record Keeping.
Journals/ Books/ Magazine/ News paper/ e-Journals etc. from time to time after getting required approval from the concerned authority
E-Alert/Communication Services on specific subject areas relevant to the Faculty from time to time.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?18,000.00 per month
