Career Point Gurukul Kota is seeking a dedicated and organized
Residential Librarian
to manage and enhance our school library. The ideal candidate should be passionate about books, student learning, and creating an engaging library environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day library operations and maintain a well-organized collection
Assist students and teachers in locating resources and reference materials
Maintain library records, issue/return systems, and cataloguing
Plan reading activities and promote a culture of reading among students
Ensure proper upkeep, hygiene, and discipline within the library
Support academic staff with study materials and research needs
Stay on campus as part of the residential staff and participate in school routines
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Library Science (B.Lib / M.Lib preferred)
Prior experience in school/college library management is an advantage
Strong communication and organizational skills
Tech-friendly with basic computer skills
