Librarian

We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated professional who can create an engaging and resourceful library environment that inspires a love for reading and research among students.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize, manage, and maintain the school library resources (books, digital materials, journals, etc.)
Assist students and teachers in locating and using library materials effectively
Develop and implement library policies, procedures, and reading programs
Maintain library records, issue systems, and inventory updates
Encourage reading habits through storytelling sessions, book fairs, and reading challenges
Collaborate with teachers to support curriculum requirements through appropriate resource selection
Desired Candidate Profile:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Library Science or a related field
Prior experience as a Librarian in a school or educational institution preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in digital cataloguing and library management software
Passionate about promoting literacy and learning
Location:
KR Puram, Bangalore
