Role:Librarian (Jr KG - 5th Grade)
Location: Pasodara, Surat
Experience: 2-5 years
Salary Range: 18K-25K PM (Negotiable)
Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Librarian to support our Junior KG to 5th Grade students at our Pasodara, Surat campus.
Responsibilities:

• Curate and maintain a well-organized, age-appropriate library collection aligned with curriculum needs and student interests.

• Design and facilitate engaging library sessions and reading programs to promote literacy and a passion for books.

• Support classroom teachers by providing resources and integrating library materials into lesson plans.

• Monitor student reading progress and provide individualized guidance to encourage reading development.

• Organize library events, reading challenges, and storytelling sessions to foster a dynamic learning culture.

• Maintain accurate records of book circulation, inventory, and library usage.

• Ensure a safe, welcoming, and inclusive library space that encourages curiosity and independent learning.

• Collaborate with staff and administrators to support school-wide literacy initiatives and events.

Requirements
Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Library Science, Education, or a related field.

• 2-5 years of experience in school library management or early childhood education settings.

• Strong knowledge of children's literature and reading development across primary grades.

• Proficiency in library management systems and digital tools for cataloging and resource tracking.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents.

• Passion for fostering a reading culture and supporting student growth through literacy.
