We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Librarian cum Article-a-Day Coordinator who lives, loves, and breathes books! The ideal candidate will inspire students to explore the world through reading, manage our library effectively, and coordinate our Article-a-Day reading initiative across grades.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the school library's resources, catalogues, and reading spaces.
Curate engaging reading materials and articles for the Article-a-Day program.
Coordinate with teachers to integrate reading into daily classroom activities.
Foster a love for books, research, and lifelong learning among students.
Organize reading challenges, book clubs, and literary events.
Use digital tools and library management systems effectively.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Library Science or a related field.
Prior experience as a Librarian, Reading Coordinator, or Literacy Coach is a plus.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Proficiency with digital tools and library management software.
Passionate about literature, children's books, and fostering reading habits.
