- Manage the day-to-day operations of the library, including circulation, cataloging, and shelving of materials.
- Develop and maintain library collections by selecting, acquiring, and cataloging books, periodicals, digital resources, and other materials.
- Assist patrons with research inquiries, reference services, and information retrieval using electronic databases, catalogs, and other resources.
- Provide guidance and instruction to patrons on information literacy skills, research methods, and academic writing.
- Plan and conduct library orientations, workshops, and instructional sessions to promote library resources and services.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and other stakeholders to support curriculum development, research projects, and instructional initiatives.
- Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in library science and academic librarianship.
- Participate in professional development activities, conferences, and associations to enhance knowledge and skills in the field.
- Contribute to the development of library policies, procedures, and strategic initiatives to enhance library services and user experiences.
Qualification: B.Lib / M.Lib or BLISc / MLISc
