The Liaisoning Officer is responsible for building and maintaining effective communication and coordination between the company and various government departments, private agencies, vendors, and internal teams. The role involves both
office work and field visits
to ensure smooth execution of organizational processes, compliance requirements, and timely approvals.
Key Responsibilities1. Government & External Liaisoning
Establish and maintain professional relations with government departments, authorities, and regulatory bodies.
Follow up on approvals, licenses, NOCs, permits, and statutory documents.
Coordinate with municipal corporations, electricity boards, pollution control boards, labor departments, revenue offices, etc. (as applicable).
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and central regulations.
2. Documentation & Office Coordination
Prepare, submit, and track required applications, letters, forms, and documentation.
Maintain records of all liaisoning activities, approvals, and correspondence.
Draft official communications and reports for internal use.
Assist internal teams by sharing updates, deadlines, and compliance requirements.
3. Field Work
Visit government offices, authorities, and project sites for submissions and follow-ups.
Meet officials to clarify queries and expedite pending work.
Coordinate between field teams and office teams for smooth workflow.
4. Relationship Management
Build positive working relationships with stakeholders and officials.
Represent the company professionally in external meetings.
5. Monitoring & Reporting
Track progress of all liaisoning tasks and update management regularly.
Identify delays, risks, and suggest practical solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline (MBA or relevant specialization preferred).
1-5 years of experience in liaisoning, government coordination, or administrative roles.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good knowledge of government procedures, documentation, and compliance norms.
Ability to handle field visits and office responsibilities.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Email communication).
Ability to work independently, with follow-up and problem-solving skills.
