To facilitate effective communication and maintain good relationships between the organization and government departments, regulatory bodies, local authorities, and other external stakeholders to ensure timely approvals, clearances, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with government departments, local authorities, municipal bodies, and regulatory agencies.
Coordinate and follow up for necessary approvals, NOCs, licenses, permits, and clearances related to projects, land acquisition, building plans, environmental approvals, etc.
Ensure timely submission of documents, applications, and compliance reports to relevant authorities.
Handle RTI, legal, and compliance matters pertaining to government regulations and statutory requirements.
Maintain updated knowledge of local/state/national rules, laws, and amendments applicable to the business.
Represent the organization in meetings, hearings, or inspections by government agencies.
Maintain records of all liaisoning activities, documents submitted, approvals received, and correspondences made.
Identify potential regulatory risks and communicate proactively with the management for resolution.
Coordinate with internal departments (legal, project, admin) to collect and provide required documents for clearances.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Preference for candidates with background in Law, Public Administration, or Political Science.
Proven experience (2-5 years) in Liaisoning with government bodies, preferably in the infrastructure, real estate, or construction sector.
Good knowledge of local, state, and central government rules and regulations.
