Job Description

The Liaison Officer will act as the primary point of contact between various stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, cooperation, and coordination. The role involves building and maintaining relationships, resolving conflicts, facilitating collaboration, and ensuring that operations run smoothly between teams, clients, or organizations.

Key Responsibilities:



Communication Facilitation:

Act as a bridge between different departments, organizations, or external stakeholders to ensure efficient communication and understanding.

Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, clients, government agencies, partners, or other relevant external bodies.

Conflict Resolution:

Address and resolve any misunderstandings, disagreements, or conflicts that arise between involved parties.

Coordinating Activities:

Plan and coordinate meetings, discussions, and events to align the goals and expectations of different parties.

Reporting:

Prepare and deliver regular reports to management, summarizing the status of projects, issues, and resolutions.

Problem-Solving:

Address potential barriers or challenges that may arise in the coordination process, proposing solutions that ensure smooth operations.

Collaboration Support:

Provide support in developing collaborative programs and initiatives, ensuring mutual benefit and alignment of goals.

Compliance:

Ensure that all communication and coordination activities are in compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational policies.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communication, International Relations, or related field. Proven experience as a liaison officer or in a similar role, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders with differing needs and perspectives. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Conflict management and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and practices is a plus.

Skills:



Excellent written and verbal communication. Strong negotiation and persuasion skills. Ability to work well under pressure and manage challenging situations. High emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or relevant software tools. Fluent in English (additional language proficiency may be required depending on the role).

Working Conditions:



Full-time position with standard office hours. Some travel or evening hours may be required based on business needs. The role may involve interaction with international or remote teams and external parties, requiring flexibility and adaptability in communication styles.
