Job Summary:



We are seeking a seasoned

Liaisoning Officer

to lead our regulatory and governmental coordination efforts for large-scale infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining all necessary statutory clearances, ensuring regulatory compliance, and serving as the primary point of contact with government departments and other external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead and manage all Liaisoning activities across government departments, statutory authorities, urban local bodies, and environmental boards. Oversee the acquisition of permissions, clearances, and NOCs related to land acquisition, construction, zoning, environmental compliance, utilities, and project execution. Maintain high-level relationships with senior officials in government agencies, municipal corporations, development authorities, revenue departments, and other relevant bodies. Monitor and interpret regulatory changes or policy developments impacting infrastructure projects. Represent the company in official meetings, inspections, hearings, and presentations before regulatory authorities. Coordinate with internal teams (legal, projects, engineering, and planning) and external consultants to ensure timely submission of accurate documentation for approvals. Ensure that all compliance and regulatory requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare and present periodic reports to senior management on the status of approvals, risks, and mitigation plans. Manage records and correspondence related to regulatory processes. Proactively identify potential legal or administrative roadblocks and resolve issues to avoid project delays.

Qualifications and Experience:



Bachelor's degree in Law, Public Administration, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in liaisoning, preferably within the infrastructure, construction, real estate, or public sector domains. Proven track record of handling complex approval processes in large-scale infrastructure or PPP projects. Deep understanding of central/state/local government procedures, land acquisition laws, urban development regulations, and environmental policies.
