Understand the client requirements and prepare technical artifacts. ? Work with team members on integration ? Working with vendors and customers. ? Interact with cross-functional groups including product manager customer support to develop new functionality and support existing customers. ? Advise on decisions on common design factors (versioning naming standards best practice etc.) ? Prepare technical roadmap for the technology and security patches as required ? Participate and present/represent the technology in the regular governance discussions ? Manage engineering tasks ? Experience working on Cloud/Virtualization/Distributed Systems/Enterprise Application Development ? Working experience in SRE/Devops/Ops role would be a good to have ? Systematic problem-solving approach coupled with a strong sense of ownership and drive. ? Experience operating troubleshooting and scaling online services ? Domain level understanding of Public/Private Cloud Infrastructure & Networking and SAN / NAS storage technologies ? Experience in configuration operation of VMware Products like vSphere vSAN NSX Skills and Experience: Experience in deployment configuration operation of vmware cloud foundation (VCF) VxRail and other Hyper-Converged Appliances Experience with automation tools like Jenkins GitLab CI Strong background in distributed systems cloud applications services Handle seamless upgrades of infrastructure and services through automation Identify gather analyze and automate responses to key performance metrics logs and alertsWork on the change request and new Installations Resolve major incidents and technical escalations within agreed SLAs and quality. Problem Management: Perform root cause analysis for problems and major incidents provide workarounds to ensure business continuity and prepare RCA reports. Change Management: Prepare Implementation plan rollback plan and test plan risk and impact analysis for critical or complex changes. Review the change plan and documentation prepared by level 2 engineers or peers. Perform Change Management Drive End to End including POA approvals Work on proactive & re-active problem management. Provide RCA Ensure earlier resolution to the issues to meet SLA Vendor Follow-up - hardware & software whenever required & resolve issues by minimizing downtimes. nstall hardware and software maintain appropriate service levels performance tuning and firmware upgrades across multiple hardware platforms. Perform advance tasks such as capacity planning performance monitoring provide recommendations for improvement and implement or oversee implementation of the recommendations. Sphere layer for Compute (ESXi) o vSAN layer for Storage based on vSAN stretched clusters. Some datastores might still leverage traditional SAN storage based on Hitachi storage arrays o NSX-T for Network overlay layer leveraged to implement software
