Further information at ZEISS India.Contract Review: + Review and analyze a variety of commercial contracts, including sales, supply, distribution, licensing, and service agreements.
+ Ensure contracts comply with local laws and regulations, company policies, and business objectives.
+ Identify and mitigate potential legal risks in contracts.
Drafting and Negotiation: + Assist in drafting and negotiating contract terms to protect the company's interests.
+ Work closely with internal stakeholders to align contract terms with business goals and legal requirements.
Compliance and Risk Management: + Ensure adherence to legal standards and company policies in all contractual matters.
+ Develop and implement processes to manage and mitigate contractual risks.
+ Conduct regular audits of contract processes to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Legal Advisory: + Provide expert advice and guidance on contractual issues to various business units.
+ Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting commercial contracts and advise the company accordingly.
Documentation and Record Keeping: + Maintain accurate records of all reviewed and executed contracts.
+ Ensure proper documentation and filing of contracts for easy retrieval and reference.
Training and Development: + Conduct training sessions for employees on contract management and compliance.
+ Develop training materials and guidelines on contract review processes and best practices.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.) or equivalent from a reputable law school. Additional certifications in contract management or commercial law are a plus. Experience: + Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in contract review and management, preferably in a multinational corporation or a leading law firm.
+ Experience in the technology, optics, or healthcare industries is advantageous.
Skills: + Strong knowledge of contract law and commercial law.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Attention to detail and ability to identify potential legal issues in contracts.
+ Strong communication and negotiation skills.
+ Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
