In this role :
  • Consults with stakeholders to analyse, define, challenge, and prioritize the business requirements, functional specifications, and operational architecture for a functional work stream within a critical Procurement programs.
  • Formulates and defines program scope and objectives for the work stream with thorough understanding of business processes in a specific business domain.
  • Tailor standard processes for team to elicit, challenge, and prioritize requirements, and translates into functional design and use case models.
  • Traceability matrix linking requirements to design and test cases.
  • Requirements are validated through walkthrough sessions with Legal IT and business SMEs.
  • Ambiguous or conflicts are resolved and documented in the change management log.
  • Provides guidance in development of the technical design, test plans, and user documentation.
  • Assist in end-to-end testing of the application, doing traceability to the requirements.
  • Manages scope and change throughout the initiative utilizing formal change control and requirements traceability.
  • Gathers and analyses information and develops recommendations to address strategic business objectives that span multiple, global business and technology areas.
  • Manage client relations to ensure that service expectations are developed and met.
  • Serves as a liaison between clients and internal technical groups to ensure delivery of projects on time and to specification.
  • Applies experiences across various software and/or systems development processes to define and collect metrics and identify and implement opportunities for improvement to increase quality of requirements and speed time-to-market.
  • Actively influences software and/or systems development process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide input for (project) team member performance appraisals.
We're seeking the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or technical-related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
  • 6 + years of experience in providing consulting advice to senior IT and business management required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task with a flexible approach to changing priorities.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prior experience of working in distributed global teams.
  • Efficient Test Writer and System Tester assuring changes all align to specifications. Keeping team's test beds current with latest system's changes.
  • Must have experience with MS Office Suite
  • Business Architecture experience
  • Knowledge of web development technology (i.e. ETL tools, API, Big Data, Workflow) would be a plus.
  • Knowledge JIRA, PPM tools, is a plus.
