We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated
Legal Researcher
to assist in legal research, drafting, and case preparation. The role involves supporting advocates in litigation and advisory work by conducting in-depth legal research and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research on statutes, case laws, rules, and regulations
Draft legal notes, briefs, summaries, and opinions
Assist in preparing pleadings, applications, and written submissions
Track and analyze recent judgments and legal developments
Maintain case files and research documentation
Provide research support for court matters and conferences
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Law graduate (LL.B.) or final-year law student
Strong legal research and analytical skills
Proficiency in legal research databases (SCC Online, Manupatra, etc.)
Working knowledge of
AI-powered legal research and drafting tools
(e.g., ChatGPT, legal AI research platforms)
Ability to use AI tools for case law analysis, summarization, and drafting assistance
Good legal drafting and written communication skills
Basic knowledge of court procedures
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Preferred:
Prior internship or legal research experience
Familiarity with emerging legal technology and AI-based workflows
Interest in litigation and legal drafting
