We are looking for a qualified and experienced

Legal Officer

to join our school's administrative team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of legal compliance, documentation, and institutional regulatory requirements. The role involves ensuring that the school adheres to all legal guidelines and managing legal matters professionally and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documents, agreements, and contracts Ensuring compliance with all educational regulations, CBSE/State Board norms, and government policies Handling legal notices, documentation, and communication with legal authorities Advising the management on legal rights, risks, and compliance issues Coordinating with external lawyers and government departments Maintaining legal records, statutory documents, and licenses of the school Managing disputes, grievances, or disciplinary matters when required

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's and Master's degree in Law (LLB/LLM) from a recognized University.

Minimum 3-5 years of legal experience( Education Sector preferred)

Handling all legal issues related to school operations Drafting, vetting, and reviewing agreements, notices, and contracts Managing court cases, legal notices, and liaison with advocates Advising management on legal compliance (CBSE, Education Dept., Labour Laws, RTE, etc.) Ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance of the institution Sound knowledge of education laws, civil laws, and compliance procedures Strong drafting, communication, and advisory skills
