We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented
Company Legal Manager / Company Secretary
to oversee corporate governance, ensure legal compliance, and provide strategic legal advice to the management. This role will act as a bridge between the company's board of directors, regulators, and stakeholders, ensuring that all statutory and legal requirements are met efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements under the Companies Act and other applicable laws.
Organize, prepare agendas for, and attend board meetings, committee meetings, and annual general meetings (AGMs).
Draft, review, and maintain accurate minutes of meetings and ensure timely filing of necessary statutory returns and documents.
Advise management and the board on legal, governance, and compliance matters.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to safeguard the company's interests.
Liaise with regulators, lawyers, and external advisors on various legal and compliance matters.
Maintain statutory registers and ensure proper documentation of corporate records.
Monitor changes in corporate law and regulations, advising the board and management of necessary actions.
Support in dispute resolution, litigation management, and legal risk assessment.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) and/or Company Secretary (CS) qualification.
Proven experience in corporate legal management and company secretarial functions.
Strong knowledge of corporate laws, governance principles, and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent drafting, communication, and negotiation skills.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Membership of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
Experience in a corporate legal department or as a practicing company secretary.
Exposure to mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructuring.

Pay: ?75,000.00 - ?125,000.00 per month
