Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our company\xe2\x80\x99s Regulatory Team. The Regulatory Compliance Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring that our company adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. This position requires a deep understanding of the IT/ITES industry and the ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

• 1. Regulatory Research and Analysis: \xe2\x80\x93 Stay current with evolving IT/ITES industry regulations, data privacy laws, and compliance requirements. \xe2\x80\x93 Conduct in-depth research to interpret and analyze regulatory changes and their implications for the company. 2. Compliance Documentation: \xe2\x80\x93 Assist in creating, maintaining, and updating compliance policies, procedures, and documentation. \xe2\x80\x93 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance documents are accurate and comprehensive. 3. Regulatory Reporting and Filings: \xe2\x80\x93 Prepare and submit regulatory reports, certifications, and filings required by relevant authorities. \xe2\x80\x93 Maintain records of all regulatory submissions and communications with regulatory bodies. \xe2\x80\x93 To ensure submission of all regulatory reports mandated by Department of Telecommunications (DoT)/ Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) for the Telecom within the stipulated timeline. 4.Compliance Audits and Assessments: \xe2\x80\x93 Support internal and external compliance audits and assessments. Help identify compliance gaps and work with teams to develop corrective action plans. 5. Data Privacy and Security: Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, DPDA) by assisting in data privacy impact assessments, consent management, and data breach response plans. 6.Vendor Compliance: \xe2\x80\x93 Assess the compliance of third-party vendors, suppliers, and partners and ensure they meet regulatory requirements. 7. Employee Training and Awareness: \xe2\x80\x93 Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees to enhance awareness and understanding of regulatory requirements. \xe2\x80\x93 Serve as a resource for employees seeking guidance on compliance matters. 8 .Regulatory Liaison: \xe2\x80\x93 Establish and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities and industry associations. \xe2\x80\x93 Act as the point of contact for regulatory inquiries and communications. 9. Contract vetting and negotiations: \xe2\x80\x93 Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and legal documents.
  

Qualifications:

• LLB/LLM degree.
• Proven experience in regulatory compliance, data privacy, or related fields within the IT/ITES industry.
• Strong understanding of IT/ITES regulations, including data protection, cybersecurity, and software licensing.
• Excellent research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and work well in a team. Familiarity with compliance management tools and software is a plus.
