Job summary:



As a Legal Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all legal aspects of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation, possess expertise in drafting and reviewing agreements, managing registrations, and be comfortable interacting with local authorities like police, education department and other outside stakeholders. Proficiency in Kannada, both spoken and written, is preferred due to our local operations.

Key Responsibilities:



Real estate, agreements deeds and registration



Provide legal advice on potential risks and liabilities.

Ensure compliance with legal standards and company policies.

Collaborate with various departments to understand their legal needs.

Oversee the registration process for various legal documents.

Coordinate with empanelled legal firms on document verification, document procurement and finalizing draft agreements.

Due diligence of properties and documents

Ensure all registrations comply with relevant laws and regulations.

Keep abreast of changes in registration requirements.

Local Engagement and Civil Litigation



Visit local police stations and courts as and when required.

Build and maintain positive relationships with local authorities.

Manage and oversee civil litigation matters.

Provide legal advice on potential risk and liabilities.

Language Requirement:



Fluent in Kannada, both spoken and written.

Translate legal documents as needed.

Communicate effectively with local stakeholders.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's or master's degree in law from a recognized institution.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation.

Strong understanding of local laws and regulations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Kannada and English.
