Job description ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Disputes Management & Advisory * Litigation management such as drafting and vetting notices replies etc. * Advise upon other litigious issues. * Drafting and management of relevant settlement discussions. * Coordination with law firms and counsel. * Development and maintenance of trackers and other relevant reports. * Development of process of effective management of various aspects connected to disputes etc. 2. Contracts Management & Advisory * Development of Templates. * Drafting, vetting, and negotiation of contracts. * Advisory on risks and inclusion of clauses to minimize risks. * Interact and collaborate closely with business partners/functions to ensure that relevant contracts address the requirements expected by the company. * Development of effective process of contract lifecycle including requests, approvals (and workflow), drafting, negotiation, stamping, execution, etc. 3. Intellectual Property Management * Conduct anti-piracy investigations with the company\xe2\x80\x99s resources and ensure the take-down of the client\xe2\x80\x99s pirated content. * Ensuring Trademark protection of client\xe2\x80\x99s brands/marks against infringement. * Eligible to handle piracy claims arising out of international IP laws and shall act upon the same to carry out anti-piracy operations. 4. Process Development * This role is responsible for developing processes to ensure and further the management control on business deals and promote efficient and effective management of disputes, contracts, intellectual property, and advisory. This role is also responsible for developing reporting process and format of various legal activities for the management. * Provide legal assistance to the Human resources team for employment and contract matters and other relating matters. * Provide Counsel, Assistance, and Support in the creation of structures and environment for ethical and legal compliances and support enforcement of global compliance policies that are applicable across multiple business units. Minimum Qualification * LLB /LLM from a reputed law institute. * Minimum 2-4 years experience in handling IP laws preferably anti-piracy laws. * Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, and Google Sheet. * Must have excellent negotiation and communication skills (written and oral). * Additional language skills will be an advantage.
