Role And Responsibilities Utilize your expertise in IP laws, trademark registration, patent filings, and copyright protection to safeguard our intellectual property appropriately. Handle trademark matters, including responding to examination reports and copyright matters. Conduct thorough research and analysis of IP issues, including infringement and licensing opportunities. Monitor and enforce IP rights, including identifying and addressing potential infringements. Collaborate with internal teams to provide guidance and support on IP matters, including product development, marketing, and branding. Assist with the management of IP litigation and dispute resolution. Maintain accurate and organized records of IP assets and related documentation. Conduct IP training and awareness programs for employees to promote understanding and compliance. Prepare and file trademark, patent, and copyright applications with relevant governmental and industrial offices. Work on IP valuation and well-known trademarks, including preparing cease and desist notices. Candidate Qualifications LLB or LLM degree from a recognized university. Areas Of Law And Expertise Adequate protection and management of intellectual property rights. Timely registration and maintenance of IP assets. Proactive identification and resolution of potential IP infringements. Successful negotiation of IP agreements to maximize value and minimize risk. Compliance with relevant IP laws, regulations, and industry standards. Efficient handling of IP litigation and disputes. Increased awareness and understanding of IP rights among employees. Well versed with Statutory/Regulatory laws with respect to Intellectual Property Laws including conducting enforcement as per law. Having proficiency and expertise in the areas of law mentioned above and in particular civil and criminal laws for execution of the actions to combat IPR violations and low-cost competition. Technical Competencies Bachelor\'s degree in Law, Business, Intellectual Property, or a related field. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in intellectual property management or a similar role. In-depth knowledge of intellectual property laws, regulations, and procedures. Strong analytical and research skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Proficiency in legal research tools and databases. Experience in negotiating and drafting IP agreements. Familiarity with trademark, patent, and copyright registration processes.
