We are looking for a sharp and motivated legal intern to join our team, focusing on the high-stakes area of corporate insolvency, restructuring, and distressed assets.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research on matters related to the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI), Asset Reconstruction Companies (ARCs), and stressed asset transactions.
Assist in drafting and reviewing applications, petitions, claims, and other documents for NCLT proceedings.
Analyse Scheme of Arrangement proposals and assist in due diligence for potential acquisitions under the IBC.
Help track case laws, IBBI regulations, and updates on corporate insolvency resolution processes (CIRP) and liquidation.
Support the legal team in maintaining case files, compliance checklists, and transaction documents.
Qualifications:
Currently in the 3rd year or above of a 5-year LL.B. programme or pursuing/pursued LL.M.
Demonstrated interest and academic coursework in corporate law, IBC, banking law, or mergers & acquisitions.
Strong research and analytical skills, with proficiency in legal databases.
Excellent drafting and communication skills.
