We are inviting applications for the position of Legal Intern at our office.
Role & Responsibilities:
Assisting in matters relating to Co-operative Housing Societies, including redevelopment matters.
Coordinating between the legal team and society members / managing committees.
Assisting in legal research, drafting, documentation, and follow-up in society-related matters.
Exposure to other legal matters handled by the office, subject to time availability and workload.
Attending meetings with society members, developers, and other stakeholders for effective coordination and adjudication of matters.
Appearing, as required, before the Deputy Registrar, District Deputy Registrar, Divisional Joint Registrar, MM Courts, and/or the Co-operative Societies Department for compliance, filing, follow-ups, and procedural work.
Requirements:
Basic knowledge of laws relating to Co-operative Societies is preferred.
Good communication, coordination, and organisational skills.
Willingness to travel to society premises and government offices for meetings and compliance work, as and when required.
Work Location:
The intern will primarily work from our office located in Mulund.
Travel to society premises, courts, and government offices may be required occasionally.
This internship offers practical, hands-on exposure to real-time legal issues involving co-operative societies, redevelopment projects, and regulatory authorities.
