Key Responsibilities
Document Management: Draft, review, and organize deeds, purchase agreements, lease agreements, closing documents, and title reports.
Transaction Coordination: Communicate with lenders, title companies, real estate agents, and clients to facilitate smooth closings.
Due Diligence: Conduct legal and factual research, review title commitments, surveys, and zoning reports.
File & Systems Management: Maintain organized electronic and paper files, manage transaction checklists, and handle escrow accounts.
Client Communication: Keep clients informed on progress, answer queries, and provide updates.
Administrative Support: Assist attorneys with scheduling, filing, and general clerical duties.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Education: Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field; certification is a plus.
Knowledge: Familiarity with real estate closing procedures, lending, and legal terminology.
Skills: Excellent attention to detail, organization, multitasking, written/oral communication, and technical proficiency.
Attributes: Professionalism, strong work ethic, ability to meet strict deadlines, and discretion with confidential information.
