Job Description

1. Legal & Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure full compliance with applicable laws, especially Companies Act, SEBI LODR regulations, Insider Trading Regulations, and other SEBI guidelines applicable to listed entities.

Liaise with regulatory bodies such as SEBI, NSE/BSE, ROC, MCA, etc., and ensure timely filings and disclosures.

Ensure statutory compliance under relevant laws applicable to E-commerce operations (IT Act, Consumer Protection Act, Data Protection, etc.).

2. Board & Corporate Governance Support:

Draft and review board resolutions, notices, minutes, and ensure compliance with board governance norms.

Advise senior management and Board of Directors on legal and regulatory matters impacting a listed entity.

3. Contract Management:

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts - vendor agreements, service contracts, digital marketing agreements, technology & licensing contracts, logistics, and warehousing contracts.

Maintain a centralized and updated contract repository with regular risk assessments.

4. Litigation & Dispute Management:

Manage all litigation and pre-litigation matters across consumer, civil, and regulatory forums.

Coordinate with external counsel for effective representation of the company in legal disputes.

5. Compliance with E-commerce & Technology Laws:

Ensure adherence to consumer protection (E-commerce Rules), cyber security, data privacy laws (DPDP Act), and platform liability regulations.

Advise on terms & conditions, privacy policy, and related digital legal documentation.

6. Intellectual Property (IP):

Manage and safeguard the company's trademarks, copyrights, and other IP assets.

Handle IP infringement and brand misuse issues.

7. Team Management & Leadership:

Lead and mentor a team of legal professionals and compliance officers.

Develop internal legal policies and training modules to build legal awareness across departments.

Pay: ?700,000.00 - ?1,000,000.00 per year
