Draft, review, and vet real estate documentation such as sale deeds, lease deeds, MoUs, development agreements, power of attorney, and conveyance deeds.
Conduct title due diligence, prepare title search reports, and verify property ownership documents.
Liaise with Sub-Registrar Offices, Municipal Corporations, and Revenue Departments for document registration, mutation, and land record verification.
Ensure compliance with state revenue laws, land acquisition acts, and applicable property & tenancy laws.
Assist in obtaining property clearances, approvals, and NOCs from government authorities.
Maintain and update legal records, agreements, and document repositories.
Coordinate with internal departments, external counsel, and clients for legal matters.
Handle legal notices, replies, and support in litigation related to property and revenue matters.
Keep track of legal and regulatory changes in real estate and land revenue laws.
Knowledge of local land and revenue laws (especially Maharashtra Land Revenue Code / applicable state laws).
Strong understanding of Real Estate, Property & Revenue Laws.
Proficiency in title verification, land documentation, and registration process.
Excellent drafting, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work with government authorities and external legal counsel.
