Responsibilities and Duties:
Maintain Intellectual Property database in respect of Trademarks and Copyrights.
Maintain deadline of renewal of Trademarks.
New Trademark search and opinion.
Look after post registration trademark matter e.g. Assignment, renewal etc.
Regularly check journal and to take legal action those trademarks which are similar with Syncom brand names.
Co-ordinate to the external advocate in respect of pending litigation / non -litigation matter.
Assist drafting in various kinds of agreement.
Send demand notices to the defaulters.
Send legal notice to the proprietor in respect of infringement of trademarks and copyrights matters.
Meet to the external counsel and briefing to them regarding pending court cases matters.
Review draft of agreement and opinion to the management accordingly.
Qualifications:
LLB
Personal characteristics. - Good networking skills in trade
Education
Minimum 1 - 2 years' experience is preferable. Fresher's can also apply.
