Key Responsibilities
1. Advisory
Providing legal & commercially viable solutions like non-compliance by Customers, Vendors, subcontractors, fraud to the management. Assess legal risk and exposure of the company in all business and operational ventures. Provide business knowledge & support to the Claims team.
2. Drafting & Vetting
Assistance for drafting and reviewing of all types of contracts, agreements, NDA, LOI's, Bank Guarantees, POA, LOA, etc for the Company and its Group entities Co-ordination with internal departments of Group Companies and senior management for timely closure of contracts. Assisting in maintaining hard and soft copy of Contracts, including maintaining a tracker. Updating, monitoring and reporting of overall status of Contracts Standardization of all location / branch office agreements Legal communication with local authorities, vendors, customers and employees Identify and evaluate for implementation of industry best practices in areas of contract drafting, compliance and document retention; Develop training tools, PPT and Process Flows in relevant areas of law; Provide assistance in any other function/role of the Law team as required or as requested by the manager. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.
3. Knowledge Sharing and Legal Awareness
- Making all functions aware of various applicable Statutory laws & compliances.
Who we are looking for
- Degree in Law (LLB/LLM)
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Corporate Legal work.
- Great communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Prior Experience in working in Warehousing & Distribution and Logistics & Transportation Industry.
