**Please note: Candidates must already live in Pune and be eligible to work in India. We do not offer relocation bonuses.
What You'll Do:

  • Provide strategic legal advice and support across our software products, services, and commercial operations.
  • Independently manage influential legal projects, including contract negotiations, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including licensing, SaaS, partnership, vendor, and confidentiality contracts.
  • Conduct legal research and provide actionable insights on emerging tech and data protection issues.
  • Support regulatory compliance initiatives, covering data privacy, export controls, and industry-specific regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, marketing, finance) to ensure legal alignment with business goals.
  • Assist with corporate governance matters, including drafting board resolutions, maintaining corporate records, and supporting subsidiary management.
  • Contribute to development-rich internal legal processes, templates, and policies to improve efficiency and impact.
What We're Looking For:
  • 4-7 years post-qualification experience, preferably in the technology or software sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in law (LLB) from a recognised institution; additional qualifications (LLM, certifications) are a plus.
  • Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills.
  • A collaborative, approachable, and professional mindset.
  • Familiarity with software, SaaS, and digital service legal frameworks is highly desirable.
  • Experience in international or cross-border legal work is a plus.
