Administrative Support: Assist the legal officer with daily tasks, including managing schedules, organizing meetings, and handling correspondence.
Documentation: Prepare, format, and review legal documents, contracts, and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance. Drafting letters and proposals related to business, administration matters or legal issues under Chief Legal Officer's direction
Research: Conduct legal research to support the legal officer in providing accurate and up-to-date advice.
Communication: Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and professional communication.
Case Management: Maintain and organize case files, records, and legal documents for easy access and retrieval.
Follow-up: Coordinate with departments, clients, and legal entities to track progress on legal matters and deadlines.
Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications and Skills:
Language Proficiency: Excellent command of English with a good accent and polished communication skills, both written and verbal.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build professional relationships and interact effectively with various stakeholders.
Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal research tools.
Experience: Prior experience as a legal assistant or in a similar administrative role is an advantage.
Degree: bachelor's degree and knowledge of business is as an asset
