We're now looking for an
in-house Legal Associate for Northbrick Ventures
who understands the unique needs of fast-moving businesses, and is ready to take ownership of legal functions across different verticals. If you want to grow with a company from the ground up, this might be your place.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, vet, and manage agreements including MoUs, vendor contracts, service agreements, and NDAs.
A solid understanding of statutes such as the Companies Act, SEBI, FEMA, Act, among others.
Handle documentation and compliance related to real estate transactions .
Provide legal guidance on real estate transactions, marketing compliance, media-related regulations and financial services compliance.
Guide internal teams on legal procedures and help mitigate business risks
Handle issues related to intellectual property, data privacy, and employment law as applicable.
Manage registrations, licenses, company documentation.
Coordinate with external legal advisors or consultants if required
Maintain proper records of contracts, legal correspondence, and regulatory filings
Represent the company in legal proceedings when necessary.
Maintain legal documentation and keep abreast of legal trends relevant to the industries we operate in. (RERA, Advertising Law, Contract Act, etc.)
Who You Are
Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized institution. Enrollment with the State Bar Council.
1-3 years of legal experience (in-house or at a law firm); experience in real estate, media, or digital marketing sectors is a plus.
Comfortable handling diverse legal needs across different industries
Able to work independently with a problem-solving mindset
Strong understanding of Indian contract law, real estate regulation, media law and financial compliance.
Excellent drafting, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and digital document tools.
Someone who values structure but can thrive in the chaos of a startup
Based in Noida or willing to relocate for a full-time on-site role.
