will play a key role in supporting the firm's legal operations across multiple practice areas, including
Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC)
matters,
SARFAESI
proceedings, and
Revenue
cases. The role involves preparing and reviewing legal documents, assisting with administrative and procedural tasks, maintaining well-organized case records, and coordinating with clients, advocates, and authorities.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and prepare various legal documents, petitions, and affidavits under
IBC
,
SARFAESI
, and
Revenue
laws.
Assist in filing, case management, and follow-ups before
NCLT, DRT, Revenue Offices
, and other relevant authorities.
Support the legal team in documentation for property and financial matters, loan recovery, and due diligence.
Maintain and organize case files, legal precedents, and compliance records.
Coordinate with external counsels, clients, and internal departments to ensure smooth case progression.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Provide administrative and research support to legal professionals as required.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of
law and legal practices
, especially in
IBC, SARFAESI, and Revenue
matters.
Proficiency in
legal document drafting and preparation
.
Excellent
communication skills
, both written and verbal.
Experience in
administrative assistance
and legal operational support.
Prior experience as a
Legal Assistant or Paralegal
in a corporate or law firm environment.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work under deadlines.
Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Studies, or related field
(preferred).
Proficiency in
MS Office
and legal management/documentation software will be an advantage.
